Refund policy

This policy applies to eligible online purchases from StoveBoss.

Online cancellation period

You may cancel most online purchases within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving a reason. Email sales@stoveboss.ie within that period and include your order number and the item you wish to return. After telling us that you are cancelling, return the goods within a further 14 days.

Before returning an item

Do not send an item back until StoveBoss has accepted the return request and confirmed the return or collection instructions. Goods should be handled only as much as is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning. Keep the original packaging, manuals and components where possible because missing items or handling beyond what is necessary may reduce the refundable value.

Return or collection costs may apply. Large or palletised products may require an arranged collection. We will confirm the return method and any applicable direct return cost before the goods are moved.

Refund timing

Approved cancellation refunds are made to the original payment method without undue delay and no later than 14 days after we are informed of the cancellation. For goods, we may withhold the refund until the goods are received back or you provide evidence that they have been returned, whichever happens first. Any additional amount paid for a delivery method more expensive than our least expensive standard delivery option is not refundable.

Faulty, damaged or incorrect goods

Inspect the order when it arrives and contact us promptly if it is faulty, damaged or incorrect. Your statutory rights for goods that are faulty, not as described or otherwise non-conforming are separate from the online cancellation right and are not limited by this policy.

Exceptions

The statutory cancellation right may not apply to goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised, and to other categories excluded by law. A product described as a special order is not automatically excluded; StoveBoss will confirm before purchase whether a lawful exception applies to that specific item.
